Your data hosted locally

Your data will be hosted locally in a data center on the island of Montreal. We own our servers and control the content and clients hosted on them. This adds a level of security and limits access to your data by third parties.

Performances

With MySQL, access to your data is faster, because each filter is converted into a MySQL query, especially for applications with a lot of data. Without MySQL, all filters and queries are executed row by row, at each synchronization.

Additionally, our applications using MySQL will not encounter the same quota limit issues as the regular database API, because MySQL does not impose a query per second (QPS) limit.

If a MySQL instance receives an excessively high number of queries for what it is configured for, the database will experience slowness and timeouts due to resource exhaustion rather than being inaccessible or literally blocked if you use our regular databases.

All our servers are equipped with high-performance SSD hard drives, 2 Xeon processors and 64GB of RAM to ensure increased performance and unparalleled stability.

Security

MySQL is the reference in terms of security and performance. Our servers are constantly updated and use the most recent versions of MySQL and other related softwares. In addition, all of our MySQL databases have a daily backup copy from the data center (located in Ville LaSalle) to our offices in Old Montreal. We keep 14 versions of our daily backups in addition to having 7 weekly and monthly backups.

How to convert your data to MySQL?

Databases are not configured by default when creating an application, you must add this option and we will take care of the migration of your data.
