Quick sync

A big change for Qano!

We work with a system that synchronizes simultaneously with the database, which makes our application extremely stable and powerful; allows you to trigger some automations that are perfectly suited to our customers and to be able to work offline. This system avoids several errors by sequentially synchronizing user actions.

Quick sync lets you instantly see other users’ changes as they are saved.

Our apps work on mobile device or browser. All data used within the app is kept in a local copy saved on the device or browser. This local copy allows the application to be interactive, responsive, and run offline. The platform must ensure that this local data copy remains in sync with the real data source that is in the cloud.

Without Quick Sync, users must manually sync their app or wait up to 30 minutes to see changes made by other users. This can cause some problems in your business workflow when users act on outdated information.

With the quick sync feature enabled, all users have access to information instantly.

This new functionality is also valid for automated actions triggered by Qano or resulting from actions taken by other users. All users will be able to see the results in real time without having to do a new synchronization.

Conditions :

• Users must have the same application version.
• Your applications should not contain complex security rules or filters.
• The user must not be in offline mode.

How it works?

We use a “cache” file which allows us to “broadcast” updates in real time as soon as they are carried out on our servers. All connected users, having the same application version, will be able to instantly see the changes in their applications.
